Every Lord’s Day at Lexington Primitive Baptist Church, a group of common, yet devout, people congregate to honor and celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ in public worship. In an attempt to model the simplicity of devotion and life that characterized the first-century church, our form of worship includes the a capella congregational singing of hymns and spiritual songs, public prayer, and the proclamation of the word of God. In a day when life is so complex, we find this simple and artless way of New Testament worship wonderfully refreshing. Though Lexington Primitive Baptist Church is not a perfect church, we believe that God has given us a treasure for which others are searching.
